African mini candles - Fairtrade and ethical candle set - small dinner candles

        
            Each candle in this ethnic candle collection has been handmade by expert candlemakers in the mountain Kingdom of Swaziland. 

The artisans create the candles using the ancient technique of ‘millifiore’, which was a skill perfected in Italy to create the finest glass sculptures and has been translated into use with wax.

The candles are beautiful, useful and ethical and are made using high grade parrafin that is long lasting. 

This set of 6 miniature African themed candles have been handmade each with their own distinctive colourful design. They'll look strikingly bright on a candelabra, or quirky in a little candleholder on their own.
Please note that as they are handmade they may not look exactly the same as the picture!

Each candle burns for approximately 4 hours.

Swazi Candles was started in an old cowshed in 1981, by two South African art graduates and a designer and quickly became well know through out the area. 
As a founding member of SWIFT (Swaziland Fair Trade Association) they are passionate about providing quality of life in the workplace for their employees.

To get the best out of your candle please read the directions before use.

- Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch.

- Remove all packaging before use and place candle in a suitable container capable of containing any wax spillage.

- Burn candle away from draughts.

- Extinguish candle with snuffer or back of metal spoon taking care not to damage wick.

- Pour of molten wax if necessary to enhance flame.
